PRAYER FOR THE WEEK 16th – 23rd August“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding.” – Proverbs 3: v5   Lord, guide my decisions this week.  When I am unsure, give me clarity.  Close doors that are not meant for me and open those aligned with Your will.  Help me lean on Your wisdom instead of my own understanding.  Direct my steps and order my path.  I surrender my plans to You and trust that You are leading me toward what is best.  Amen

Farncombe Community Store (local food bank) is currently experiencing a drop in donations which is challenging its ability to meet demand from its clients.

If you would like to make a small donation – such as a can of tuna or beans, rice, packet of biscuit and similar food cupboard items – please would you bring it to church when you are next worshipping where a box will be provided.  Alternately, if you notice a donation box at the store you regularly shop at, please consider dropping something for the Store into it.

We don’t pass around an offerings-plate during the service.  If you wish to make a donation towards work of the church, please use one of the offerings-plates at either exit at the end of the service.

Please let Barbara S (barby.saundy@gmail.com) have any items for Sunday, 30th August by the evening of Tuesday, 25th August
